Schloss Sorg, built in 1647, is situated atop the Schwarzach terrace. This baroque manor dates from the period after the Thirty Years’ War, with no records prior to that. It was inhabited by Franz von Schwab, who died here in 1671 and is buried in the church in Wendelstein. From 1697, the estate belonged to various owners, including the Riet family. In 1853, Johann Michael Scheuerlein purchased the property, using it as a farm, and it has remained in his family's ownership since. The castle underwent restoration, which included the preservation of a valuable stucco ceiling. Today, the site features a photo gallery and maintained spaces for events, including traditional Christmas markets at the start of December.
