Linderhof was a residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria and has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2025. The palace is accessible only through guided tours. The park surrounding the palace contains several notable structures, including the Venus Grotto and the Royal Lodges, which are accessible during tours. Visitors should expect significant elevation changes between the various sites in the park via often steep paths, with the Venus Grotto situated approximately 50 metres higher than the palace itself. Tours are available for individuals and groups; groups of 15 or more can reserve a time slot.
