The ICC in Berlin is an architectural landmark in the western part of the city, comprising 80 versatile spaces. It has been unused since 2014. Following a Europe-wide selection process, plans aim to revitalize it into an open, lively place for the city, serving as a focal point for a new urban district with international appeal. The project envisions a diverse mix of uses including art, culture, concerts, exhibitions, gastronomy, events, and the creative industries. Large halls, foyers, and extraordinary volumes will once again serve as stages for international formats and public programs. Additional new constructions, entrances, improved pathways, and gastronomic offerings will strengthen the connection with its surroundings, creating a bustling venue throughout the day.
