Hotel Katharinenhof in Werdau is a historic villa built in 1905, designed by the renowned Jugendstil architect Oskar Möbius. The building was carefully restored and converted into a hotel during 1992/93, with most of its original furnishings preserved and complemented with historic furniture. The interiors evoke the atmosphere of the early 20th century, offering 18 uniquely decorated rooms, some with balconies or terraces, showers or baths, TVs, and minibars. The hotel also features a historic restaurant serving regional cuisine in a refined atmosphere reminiscent of 1900. Surrounding the hotel are well-marked forest paths and convenient proximity to Zwickau and other major Saxon cities, enabling easy day trips and regional exploration.
