Hotel 38 is a boutique hotel housed in a 1900 classical building in Berlin's Mitte district, fully renovated in 2010/11 and owner-operated. The 32 individually designed rooms feature comfortable beds, harmonious colour schemes, quality materials and unusual layouts. Each floor has its own colour concept, and some rooms recall Alt-Berlin apartments. All rooms include en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, SAT-TV, CD/DVD-player, direct phone line and WLAN. Most rooms overlook the quiet courtyard or peaceful rear of the hotel across four storeys. Some rooms are air-conditioned; 16 are wheelchair-accessible and two are fully adapted. The location offers direct access to the city's museums, historical sites, restaurants, clubs, bars and many theatres. Friedrichstraße station is nearby with S-Bahn connections.
