Built in 1872 on the western shore of Fraueninsel island, Gästehaus Neumair is a traditional family-run guest house now in its third generation. Rooms include spacious single rooms, double rooms with east and south-facing balconies overlooking Chiemsee lake and the Alpine foothills, and modernised suites with separate bedrooms, living areas and lake views. A breakfast room with a 19th-century ceramic stove offers a generous buffet including local specialities. The house features a flower garden and occupies an island setting without traffic noise, combining Bavarian hospitality with proximity to art and culture. All rooms are non-smoking with television and internet access.
