Built in 1692 on the site of an earlier castle, Fürstenbau in Passau was the summer residence of the Prince-Bishops of Passau. The centrepiece is an oval banquet hall on the upper floor, designed for formal gatherings and dining in baroque elegance. Below is a historic beer cellar. Together these spaces form part of the Hacklberg brewery.
