About this venue
The Stadthalle in Rottweil features a modern architectural design based on clear, functional forms, incorporating elements of Bauhaus tradition. Designed by the Ravensburg-based firm Stumper + Eichhorn + Auerbach, it marks a new urban focal point along Stadionstraße and encloses a newly expanded festival square. Its façade features a reflective glass front and is illuminated at night with welcoming green lighting. The interior hall is accessible via a covered walkway made of concrete columns, leading from the street to the entrance and connecting to the historic Stallhalle. The venue is equipped with versatile technical facilities, including a modern sound and lighting system, and a flexible stage that can hide within the wall for extra space. Additional amenities include a bar, restrooms, a kitchen, changing rooms, and other auxiliary rooms. The hall can accommodate up to 1,000 guests in a row seating layout, with reduced numbers for configurations with tables or for ball events. It serves as a multipurpose space suitable for concerts, assemblies, fairs, markets, and exhibitions.
