Schloss Mespelbrunn is a historic castle set in the scenic Spessart region. Recently, the castle's east wing roof was replaced with a traditional German slate roof, and restoration work has been carried out on parts of the interior, including the Chinese Salon. The castle features a Trauraum and the chapel Maria Schnee, both suitable for civil and religious ceremonies, with the chapel accommodating up to 65 guests. Visitors are encouraged to respect the natural surroundings and avoid leaving waste in the forest. The castle is open seasonally, from late March to early November, offering a glimpse into its centuries-long history, from its origins as a water castle to its renaissance transformation. Guided tours are available, and on-site amenities include a café and accommodations for extended stays in the Mühlenhäuschen, located close to the water.
